62% of Americans believe that AI will have a major impact on American workers in the next 20 years, according to a 2023 Pew Research Study.

But how will AI actually impact Americans?

A 2024 Brookings Institute Study suggests that 85% of workers will have at least 10% of their work tasks impacted by the integration of generative AI in the workplace. Additionally, the Society for Human Resources Management conducted a 2025 study which reveals that 19.2 million American jobs are at high or very high risk for automation displacement because of AI. 

AI automation allows large companies to work more efficiently, raising profits and fueling advancement. But they can’t leave the American people behind. 

A Universal Basic Income, fueled by a Sovereign Wealth Fund that large corporations pay into, helps Americans meet their basic needs and allows industries to pay back the American people.
